Engineering team leader

I am an Engineering team leader at Caterpillar and a Shultz energy fellow from Stanford University. I graduated with 4.1GPA on 4 point scale. I specialize in battery thermal runaway management to enhance battery safety through thermo-chemical simulation and Battery testing in my current role.
I am open to learning new concepts and have completed projects in diverse fields such as:
-Aerospace (Rockets,Satellite design and Space Propulsion): Lab scale hybrid rocket motor with theoretical specific impulse of 250s and 1D model to develop Rotating detonation engine cycle.
-Robotics (Autonomous navigation and control): Autonomous mobile robot --The Kidnap bot
-Energy systems (IC engines, Fuel cells, Batteries): Altitude and Ambient simulation of Natural gas engines using GT Power, Thermal runaway mitigation strategy development.
-Data Science (Machine learning, Data analytics): Supervised machine learning to predict dengue progression, Covid data analysis using R.

During Shultz energy fellowship, I have worked on enabling remote communities of Kotzebue to increased renewable energy access with the application of knowledge, experience, and skills gained in academia and industry by implementing Hydrogen solutions. This experience further strengthened my belief in engineering and technology and its contribution in transforming society.

I have also worked as a Consultant for couple of companies.
- Experimental analysis of Fans used in Radiator of Two wheelers for Knowledge Nest technologies and solutions pvt limited
- Taxation policy for e-vehicles in Kenya for Anza Energy

The projects that I have undertaken has resulted in publishing couple of papers in international journals and national conferences. I also hold certifications from ISRO, MIT and TU Delft in various courses.

On personal front, I would like to serve society. I am passionate on enabling education access to all and I currently hold CSR Coordinator role for Electrification division in India and have previously held employee engagement chairmanship for an employee resource group: Young professionals at caterpillar

I am a president scout and have received highest award in scouting for excellence from President of India: Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil
In my free time, I love hiking and have undertaken several expeditions. My top 5 Clifton strengths are Analytical, Inclusive, Learner, Competitive,Achiever
